Audiences are preparing for all the feels when ‘The Peanut Butter Falcon’ hits theaters this week. Centered on a young man with Down syndrome who escapes his nursing home and joins a petty criminal on the run, hoping to join a professional wrestling school, the Mark Twain-styled adventure has earned rave reviews from critics so far. Ahead of the film’s release, stars Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson, and Zack Gottsagen sat down with RT editor Jacqueline Coley to talk about the new film, explaining how they formed affectionate bonds over manicures, wrestling, and eating. LaBeouf also coyly references a birthday wish that came true, while Johnson explains how Gottsagen helped make him friendlier.
