A large proportion of those who have died from Covid-19 in the UK had a form of dementia.

As winter draws nearer, there are fears that without action to address some of the reasons that those with dementia seem to be especially suffering, recent history will repeat itself.

95% of family carers surveyed said extra caring hours during the pandemic had impacted upon their physical or mental health.
