Singapore 2018 – My Vision

In December 2018, I had the good fortune of visiting the city-state Singapore for one week. Suffice it to say I barely stratched the surface. It is equal parts futuristic and utopian – their embrace of technology and data almost without parallel. Singaporeans enjoy one of the highest qualities of life in the world with twice the upward mobility of the United States. Flying to this place with many such factoids bouncing around my head, I still didn’t really know what to expect. It is a collision of east and west, tradition and technology. This video encapsulates footage from multiple sources including drones, mirrorless cameras as well cutting edge techniques such as aerial hyperlapse to try and bring some justice to the representation of this place. This is the latest installment of the “My Vision” series, the first taking place in Cuba.

Equipment: Zhiyun Crane 2, Sony A7III, Mavic 2 Pro.
