Director Paul Feig has been on a role since his Certified Fresh ‘Bridesmaids’ was released in 2011. Since then he’s released ‘The Heat’ (just Fresh at 64%) as well as Certified Fresh hits like ‘Ghostbusters,’ ‘A Simple Favor,’ and the 95%-rated ‘Spy.’ This year he’s aiming to keep the hot streak going with ‘Last Christmas,’ a London-set holiday heart-warmer written by Emma Thompson and starring Thompson alongside Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, and Michelle Yeoh. Ahead of the movie’s release, Feig sat down with Rotten Tomatoes to share his own favorite Christmas movies – and finally settle the debate about whether ‘Die Hard’ qualifies as essential Yuletide viewing.
