Madeleine suspect was “strange and intimidating” say locals in Portuguese village – BBC News

The new suspect in the Madeleine McCann case has been described as strange and intimidating by people in the Portuguese village where he stayed around the time of her disappearance in 2007.

One resident claimed people were terrified of the man – identified by the German authorities as Christian B – because he carried a gun.
