Iran threatens Israel with retaliation after murder of top nuclear scientist – BBC News

Iran’s leaders have promised to retaliate after the assassination of the country’s top nuclear scientist.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was attacked near the capital Tehran. Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani blamed Israel for the killing.

Israel has not commented on the attack silent. However it had previously accused the scientist of being the leading figure behind a secret nuclear weapons programme.
