How to make baked lemon pepper chicken
Baked Lemon Pepper Recipe
Marinade
In a bowl combine 1/4 cup of olive oil,1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice (from a lemon), 1/2 tsp of minced garlic, 1 tbs of salt, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of black pepper, and chopped up fresh Rosemary and Thyme
Stir in well
Rinse your chicken breast and thigh pieces with vinegar water
Pat dry
Stick holes in them with a knife and then place them into the marinade
Massage well and cover with a top
Let it marinate for 8-12 hours
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees
Place chicken in a baking pan
Slice up the lemon peelings and place them over the chicken
Bake for 40-45 mins on 375 degrees until lightly brown then remove from oven.
Sit under the broiler for 2 minutes if it’s not brown enough after 45 mins
Sprinkle with lemon zest
Best served with rice
